Europa
Built in 1911 the Europa started life as a
light ship but was later converted for sail training. In 1994 she
was fully restored as a barque and now roams the oceans of the
world in the best seafaring tradition. With a professional crew of
14 and a complement of 48 voyage crew members of all ages and
nationalities, Europa is powered by canvas and cooperation!
The atmosphere on board reflects an adventurous maritime
history. The traditional mahogany deckhouse, teakwood decks and
floors as well as the beautiful interior with authentic early 20th
century details provide a perfect ambiance for a fantastic voyage.
All cabins are very comfortable and have en-suite shower and
toilet and there is also a hospital, deck lounge with bar, mess
room and a library.
The Europa’s voyages regularly take her as far afield as the
Antarctic, Argentina and South Africa then back again to Europe
and the UK. These amazing voyages are available to individual
customers looking for a fantastic ocean adventure.
From time to time the Europa is also available for corporate
charters and day sails.
