Mare Frisium
Originally built as a Dutch fishing logger in
1916 her crew fished for herrings on the Dogger and Viking Banks.
At the end of the 1940’s the ship was sold and used as a
freighter making regular journeys between Germany and Sweden. Mare
Frisium’s current owners found her rusting in a Swedish harbour
and lovingly restored her into the beautiful tall ship we see
today.
The Mare Frisium has two well-appointed saloons, a bar, a fully
equipped commercial kitchen and accommodation for up to 36 people.
Suitable for day sails for up to 90 people and longer passages for
smaller groups, the Mare Frisium is an impressive sight on the
water.
