Swan Fan Makkum
At 62 metres the Swan fan Makkum is the
world’s largest brigantine and the biggest two-masted ship.
Built in 1993, she was designed in the style of a traditional
windjammer by naval architect Olivier van Meer. From her home in
the Netherlands the Swan is a regular visitor to the UK as well as
the Baltic, Mediterranean and Caribbean.
The ship can carry up to 120 passengers and is ideal for
corporate charters with a large deck saloon that can seat 70
people for dinner. With 16 cabins taking 32 guests the Swan also
makes a great ship for team building events and longer sailing
passages.
